Dwa lata temu podczas powrotu z urlopu w Chorwacji miałam – już na terenie Austrii – koszmarny wypadek. Mnie i dzieciom nic nie stało, ale samochód wyglądał makabrycznie. Szyby potłuczone, jeden bok wgnieciony, rama przesunięta itd, itp. O dziwo, po wypadku samochód udało się odpalić i jakoś się dowlokłam do najbliższego warsztatu, jadąc po górskich drogach z prędkością 30 km na godzinę.
Wypadek był straszny, ale równie straszna była gehenna, którą potem mi zafundowała firma ubezpieczeniowa. Powiem tak – gdybym nie miała konta oszczędnościowego z lokatą bez podatku belki, musiałabym chyba z moimi dziećmi spać w rowie przy drodze.
Aby umówić się z ubezpieczycielem na przyjazd rzeczoznawcy, wykonałam prawie dwadzieścia(!) telefonów do Polski, oczywiście płacąc za nie z własnej kieszeni. Musiałam również opłacić pięć noclegów, bo jaśnie pan rzeczoznawca miał dużo pracy i nie mógł tak od razu do nas przyjechać. Na szczęście, konto oszczędnościowe z lokatą antybelkową umożliwiło mi dostęp do naszych oszczędności i jakoś finansowo dałam sobie radę.
Pamiętam, jak kłóciłam się z mężem, gdzie ulokować pieniądze: na długoterminowej lokacie czy na koncie oszczędnościowym. No i proszę, okazało się, że miałam rację stawiając na pełną swobodę w dysponowaniu pieniędzmi. W takich nagłych, nieprzewidywalnych sytuacjach losowych konto oszczędnościowe okazuje się o wiele bardziej przydatne niż lokata.
